Psychotherapy and body-oriented
trauma therapy

Trauma is not only what happened, but also what continues to live on in the body and nervous system. This is why I include the body in my therapeutic work, using approaches such as Somatic Experiencing®, the Safe and Sound Protocol, and Transforming Touch.

Psychotherapy/Counselling

Not every path has to lead through the body. Sometimes what is needed first is someone who listens, and a safe, confidential space where you can express what is on your mind. This is also possible with me, entirely separate from body-oriented work.

For many, this can be a good first step. If you wish, body-oriented work can be integrated later on, but it does not have to be.

Not every path has to go through the body. Sometimes, what you need first is a person who listens, and a safe space where you can speak freely about what is on your mind. This is also possible with me, completely independent of body-oriented work. For many, this is a good first step. If you wish, body-oriented work can be integrated later on—but it doesn't have to be.

In our sessions, space can be created for...

Navigating life transitions

Grief and loss

support with difficult decisions

Conflicts or challenges at work or school

Conflicts in relationships (family, friends, partner, colleagues, ...)

Navigating the tension between closeness and boundaries

— WHAT TO EXPECT

A space where safety can be developed together.

At the beginning of therapy, you might feel like you have to make sense of everything and explain it all first. You don’t have to. You can come as you are and show up tired, insecure, quiet, confused, angry, or frustrated.

I will meet you right where you are, and together we can look for common threads.

You are an active part of the process and always have a say in where we go and how deeply we explore. We are guided by what feels right and manageable for you—listening to your body and nervous system along the way.
